Beautiful surroundings, lovely welcome, staff extremely pleasant. Lunch was delicious. Treatments and therapists were so relaxing and friendly.
Our room was in the spa building so close to the spa. Huge room, spotless and very comfortable. Would definitely book another spa break there. Even a day trip as not too far from home. Loved every minute.
Dinner and breakfast was served in the main hotel.very impressed with the whole scenario.
The treatments were amazing but same cant be said about the changing room/pool facilities. The changing room was cold as they had air con on, they only had 1 room to get changed, my friend got locked in the toilet as the handle fell off, pool was freezing only sauna and jacuzi was working steam room hadn’t been working for a while due to the smell, and non of the showers had locks. We arrived at 12 and had our treatments at 12.30 we were out the pool for 2 as we were both cold. Lunch was lovely and the spa, seating area and the pool were clean.
We were going to mention it to staff but they were already aware. I'm really dissapointed as the reason for today was to give my friend much needed pamper
Both ladies who gave us the massage were very professional and friendly. However, I didn’t feel that the overall service was of the highest quality. An example if this was I had to ask about the delivery of the day, we were never asked if we required drinks or desserts at lunch times and the service seemed a very slow. The spa itself was nice and it had what it said it would. The venue was clean and tidy. I would expect more for the service if I was to go again.
The hotel is in a picturesque location, the room was big and spacious, and the treatments we received we’re good overall however we had issues with the TV not working, this was raised with room service, who came to investigate the problem and informed us it was due to the bad weather, however we tested this the following day whilst the weather was calm and it was still faulty. The central heating was also out of order in the room.
The stay was booked for a 40th birthday which was explained at the time of booking, however no efforts were made to make this special in any way for the person celebrating, and there was no acknowledgement of the birthday.
The was little choice for vegetarians however the restaurant staff tried to be as accommodating as possible. We were also a little disappointed as we expected this to be a spa hotel however it was more along the lines of a general leisure club with a very small sauna and steam room and a swimming pool.
Massage was good but would of like some aromatherapy sense and dimmed light on entrance to the room. Ladies were really nice and made sure we were comfortable.
My friend and I had 2 x 25 minutes and 1 x 55 minute treatments included in our spa package which was superb value.
We had a 55 minute facial with Denise who was just so lovely and a fantastic ambassador for the hotel. I could have spent all day having treatments from her. Knowledgable, so friendly and very skilled at her craft!
The lounge area was warm, comfortable with plenty of places to sit and relax. Hot drinks available and of high quality - I can recommend the hot chocolate as it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were moderately busy and were the perfect way to relax after our treatments. Clean spacious shower and changing areas too.
Overall, excellent and I can’t wait to go again.

The treatment was amazing and was what made the day for us both. Very well thought through and cared about making sure my skin was nice.
Unfortunately Stress of getting here for 10 when being told your treatment will be cut short when we were told to get here for 10am not 30 mins before as advised. Told we would be separate appointments ended up at same time.
Light lunch was mostly depleted of food and only had small amounts of leftovers. Haven’t replenished puddings as we asked as none were there.

It was a great day and Crabwall Manor is a lovely hotel setting. The treatments were really great and the therapists worked hard to accommodate my friends needs linked to her health conditions.
Again the staff were lovely and we all had the same therapist for the day which was lovely. The treatments were amazing the ladies really did a great job. The facilities were however a little dated and a bit grubby! There wasn't much room round the pool/Jacuzzi area and not enough loungers or chairs for everyone. It was very cramped.
Overall this was a lovely afternoon. The treatments and staff were exemplary and the food was delicious. The let down was the general condition of the pool area with paint peeling off the walls and a horrible smell from the showers. I would return here for treatments but not sure if i would use the pool again.
The spa itself is a little run down and tired but it does the job. Not much room around the pool side for relaxing and small changing rooms. The pool was a lovely size for swimming and jacuzzi nice. The therapy rooms were beautiful though and the therapists were excellent and very professional. Very good at their jobs. The treatments were fantastic all round and ran like clockwork even though we were a large group. The products used were very high quality. We were impressed with the whole experience for value for money!

Staff - excellent. Treatments - best facial and massage I've ever had (by Nikita). Nail station space a little small however (down a hall way), but the treatment was nice nonetheless. The pool, jacuzzi and changing rooms are looking a bit tired in places which is a shame as overall we had a great experience!
We had a great stay hotel anf facilities were lovley only 1 negative they never had us booked in gor our treatments or our meal dont know weather this was a problem your side or theres but was dealt with quickly and efficiently so no big deal in the end

Rooms dont have air con so really hot. Window did not close properly so all the water came into our room. Maintenance man came up and said all he can do is screw it shut but we couldn't have that as it was too hot so had to put a towel down. No offer of changing our room. Called room service several times but not response, only got through one which took 35 mins. Bathroom was lovely and the bed size was great. We were in a superior room and it was a good size room. Massage was good but 25 mins went really quick, we wanted to book another but there was no availability across the three days.
My friend and I booked this really last minute and hadn’t really had time to do too much research so we were somewhat apprehensive.
On arrival we were greeted warmly and swiftly checked in.
I have to say our twin room was superb. Spacious, plenty of wardrobes, comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. Every inch of the room (and the rest of the hotel) was immaculately clean.
We had a breakfast, lunch and dinner two night package which I cannot recommend highly enough. The food was simply excellent and every member of staff we encountered were extremely helpful.
Beyond delighted with our entire stay and cannot find any negative.
As we booked so late, we couldn’t book any additional treatments as they were fully booked which wasn’t an issue as we had treatments included in our package. I considered their lack of appointment availability as a major positive as they were clearly of a high quality to be in such demand by other residents/day spa guests.
Exceptional value for money, remarkably friendly and well run hotel. Spa staff were lovely - especially Denise who was so knowledgeable and a delight to spend an hours treatment with.

My husband and I stayed for our 10yr wedding anniversary and were upgraded to the master suite when we arrived. The hotel was beautiful, very comfortable and spacious. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The food at all parts of the day was delicious and very good value.
Great break. Facilities were beautiful and the treatments lovely. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We had good included in our package and these were delicious, good portions and at dinnerwe could get three courses within our allowance. We had a fantastic time and it was great value for money highly recommend.
This is our 3rd or 4th stay. We use Crabwall manor to get together with family. Staff always go out of there way to accommodate us and the customer service is exemplary. Food delicious. Rooms extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend
Wow, we had a fantastic time, the accommodation was fantastic! the staff were lovely, we loved every minute of it! Truly would and have recommended to friends and family already.
The food was amazing, the menu choice and quality of the food was 5 star and there was sooooo much of it!
The staff were lovely, especially Cybil, she checked up on us all the time to ensure everything was to our liking.
The only down side was the residence bar or the lack of, when there's an event on the bar is restricted to the event guests only, there is another very small bar at the restaurant but it wasn't an area for a group of guests to sit.
Besides that we had a memorable time, thank you!
The whole package was great. Food fantastic superior room was great and was able to check into our room on arrival which made the whole stay just a bit more pleasurable.
Would give full marks is steam room had menthol scent (like a different spa I visited last year)m as opposed to usual musty smell they have. Staff were very helpful and any issues we had, were resolved immediately. Room was lovely and grounds very nice

Extremely disappointed with the spa experience at this hotel. Nothing relaxing whatsoever about the spa environment itself. Tiny sauna and steam room, pool so cold that no one wanted to swim in it, people fighting for space in the sauna/ steam room/jacuzzi to try to keep warm. Seating area around pool cramped and inadequate for the number of people - a few cheap, plastic reclining chairs crammed together at one end , everyone had to squeeze gingerly past them to get around the pool and access the sauna/steam room etc. We were given flimsy flip-flops to wear which you couldn't wear around the pool at all without slipping and hurting yourself. No relaxation area in the spa ,the only place you can sit is in the brightly lit cafe area in the spa reception itself, where you are also competing with those eating their lunch (there is no separate dining area). We had to eat our lunch crammed up together on a small couch bent over a rather grubby table, whilst people were constantly taking the remaining chairs so there was space for everyone to sit. Awful! Uncomfortable and not conducive to a relaxing spa retreat at all. Hotel is completely understaffed, the service was like Fawlty Towers. On arrival, my friend went to reception to ask if we could have an ice bucket for our room. She was told by the rather dozy young man that someone would be sent along shortly. After waiting for half an hour, we tried repeatedly to ring reception- no reply. I went down to find the place empty apart from a stressed looking workman to be told it was a busy time and they were probably checking people in and I would have to wait. After a few minutes a young girl came who told me she had taken over from said dozy young chap - he had knocked off his shift without bothering to tell anyone we were waiting for an ice bucket. I was told I could have one but I might have to wait as she was busy and it might be quicker to go to the bar and ask for one myself, which I did! Dining room was dark and dreary, in dire need of updating,like something from an old people's home, only a tiny bar area in the with just a couple of old wooden tables and chairs, no comfort whatsoever. Dining room staffed by a slightly nutty young waitress who spent ages boring us about her personal life whilst serving us with warm white wine, poured right up to the brim of the glass. When asked for a wine cooler she said there were none left and despite being shown an empty one on another table it took two goes before she finally brought it. At the end of the meal she gave us the wrong bill, told us we couldn't put any extras on our room tab and had to pay immediately, so we had to go back to our room to get cards and didn't want to serve us an after dinner drink (at 10pm) as she said she had had a long day and the float had already been removed from the till!! Upon pressing, she did eventually serve us a drink and added it to the bill to be paid immediately by card. Only good points - nice room, food ok.
Lovely hotel, brilliant staff and couldn't fault the food. Shame the grounds aren't bigger as it would have been nice to go for a stroll around the hotel!
