There is free on-site parking for guests and if you are visiting for a spa day there is a separate car park for the spa. The closest train station is Ashford International station, which is a 12-minute drive away. The closest airports are either London South End, London City or London Gatwick.

When was Eastwell Manor built?

Eastwell Manor in Kent was originally built between 1540 and 1550. It has a rich history, including ties to royalty - serving as a private residence to Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, the fourth child of Queen Victoria, who lived there in the late 19th century. The estate then suffered during World War Two, leading to its demolition and rebuilding. Eastwell Manor is now owned by Champneys who invested a significant amount into the property. The current building retains much of its historic charm while now operating as a luxury hotel and spa.

Accessible facilities include:

• One adapted room within our mews accommodation. The room has additional space around the bed and is a fully adapted wet room in place of the standard bathroom.
• In the manor house, the main reception, bar and toilet facilities are all on the ground level. There are a couple of steps to the restaurant, but they have ramps available to assist with access.
• In the spa, the changing rooms, restaurant and pool areas are all on the ground floor and they have hoists available for access to the pool. There is a lift to take guests to the treatment rooms.

Check-in for overnight breaks at Eastwell Manor is 3pm while check-out is 11am with access to the spa until 4pm. Check-in for spa days is 9am while check-out is 6pm. It is suggested you check your specific arrival times however for your spa break, as well as any changes for bank holidays.
