Limehouse Library Hotel was initially a library, built in 1881 and operational from 1901 to 2003. In 2014 it was taken on by the Hazev Group, who restored it and opened it as a multifunctional destination, complete with a boutique hotel, a library, an events space, and school of the culinary arts, in 2022.

The main restaurant is on the ground floor, serving continental and cooked breakfasts every morning; it has its own bakery, and beautiful culinary offerings at Afternoon tea, lunch and dinner, including a three-course set menu.
