Best Known For
The scenic location, and the way the hotel is designed to envelope it into its walls and make it part of the whole experience.
Exceptional Spa Feature
It’s got to be the pool. Everything in this beautifully designed spa has a sense of purpose which makes the journey through it seamless, but it is the pool that feels most magical as you to swim towards the lakes and mountains of the Cumbrian countryside.
Spa & Leisure
- Purpose-built luxury spa
- 18 dedicated luxury spa bedrooms
- Dedicated spa deli
The Falls Spa is a beautiful, purpose-built experience at the hotel, designed to make the most of the breathtaking location and infuse it with both luxury and holistic wellbeing. The result is a modern environment where guests can enjoy both the inside and outside. Large windows and lots of natural light mean that views permeate the indoor space, whatever the weather. Indoors there is a four person rasul, and a thermal suite comprising of a laconium, aroma steam room, herbal sauna, salt steam room, ice fountain, drench showers and heated relaxation loungers. Meanwhile outside there is also a glass-fronted Finnish sauna, open-air cold drench bucket and hot shower for a full water and heat experience and a 16 metre hydro pool with neck jets, underwater loungers and an amazing overflow hot tub feature with spectacular views to Derwentwater and the Catbells mountain range.
Treatments are also very much part of the spa experience. There are five treatment rooms (including some with views onto the landscape) where the spa has chosen to use Elemis and La Sultane De Saba product lines because of their luxury as well as effective credentials. As this is very much an environment where you will want to spend a full day unwinding, there’s also plenty of space to simply relax and enjoy the view, and an exclusive Champagne bar serving light refreshments so that you can enjoy a treat to keep you going before or after your lunch or afternoon tea in the main hotel.
