How do you get to the Waterfront Southport Hotel?

The Waterfront Southport Hotel is located on the Promenade, right on the marina in the Merseyside town of Southport. If you're driving, go from the M6 exit junction 26 onto M58, exit M58 junction 3 onto the A570 towards Southport, then follow the A570 into town centre at the T junction and take a right onto A565. At the next main traffic lights take a left up to the Promenade, at the lights take a right and the hotel can be found on the left hand side. To reach the car park, drive past the hotel and Convention Centre, then the next road on your left brings you behind both of the buildings where the car park can be found underneath the hotel.

​Car parking is available at the hotel on a first come first serve basis, and is complimentary when you book directly with the hotel. There's no need to reserve a space, simply park in any available spot upon your arrival. The car park is monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), so there are no barriers; you can drive straight in. However, you’ll still need to register your number plate at Reception using the monitor provided.

The nearest train station is Southport Station, which is a seven-minute car journey or 15-minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel is home to two popular dining areas - the Waterfront Marina Restaurant, which is the main restaurant, as well as the Roof Garden and Bar for drinks with city views.

  • The reception desk has a lower-level section where our team will be happy to assist guests using a wheelchair.
  • Porter service is available to assist guests with luggage.
  • Two lifts with Braille buttons connect all five floors. The lift door width is 900mm and each lift features one internal handrail.
  • Corridors are well lit.
  • Bedrooms (excluding the penthouses) can be accessed without any steps. The entrance door width to most rooms is 840mm.
  • The hotel has four accessible bedrooms suitable for wheelchair users. Each accessible bedroom interconnects with a twin room.
