If you’re using public transport to make your way to The Swan, then they're a two-minute walk from the Newby Bridge bus stop, where buses arrive every hour to get you to and from Barrow, Dalton, Ulverston and Windermere. The X6, 6 and X60 buses are all Swan-friendly.

The Swan Hotel does offer limited parking but is prioritised for residents of The Hotel. The car park has a charge of £7.50 for two hours, £15 for four hours, and £30 for eight hours. Parking for residents, spa, and health club guests is free, and will be validated at the respective reception areas.

Check-in time is 3pm, check-out time is 11am. The Health Club and pool are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 9pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 8am to 8pm. Spa treatments are available daily from 10am to 6pm, and thermal journey access is from 10am to 8pm. It is suggested you check your specific arrival times however for your spa break, as well as any changes for bank holidays.
