Spa & Leisure

Thurlestone Hotel has all the assets for a family escape with an abundance of activities. For sunny days you are a stone’s throw from a multitude of sandy beaches, beckoning you to visit with buckets and spades, a surf board in hand or for walks on the clifftops. The hotel is also adjacent to the Thurlestone Golf Club, a links course in prime position by the sea. Meanwhile the hotel itself has a gentility to its activities including outdoor tennis courts, a gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and gardens to roam in.

This is all in addition to The Voyage Spa. A recently renovated addition to the hotel, it combines top class modern facilities with a touch of classic nostalgia from the golden age of ocean travel. Facilities include the aforementioned indoor pool, a sauna, steam room, a hydrotherapy pool and a relaxation room as well as three treatment rooms where therapists use Decleor, Jessica Nails and Mii Cosmetics make-up in a collection of face and body treatments.

Hotel & Accommodation

With unparalleled views of the sea in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, Thurlestone Hotel is named for the beach a mere five minute walk from its location. A family friendly hotel with all the luxury credentials for a romantic break, it has just the right amount of old school charm set alongside contemporary style and service. Rooms blend modern comfort and coastal style, filled with light and luxurious finishes, many with views of the sea as well.

Whiling away the afternoon on the terrace in the summer with teas, coffees or a quintessential Devon scone and lashings of clotted cream, is one of the hotel’s great assets, while in the winter the same activity can be accompanied by warming log fires in the lounge. Meanwhile, the region’s rich abundance of local seafood is presented in the Trevilder Restaurant, its Rock Pool bistro by the pool, and in the hotel’s own pub, The Village Inn - the perfect welcome after a stroll along the clifftops.
