On the banks of the River Leven in the heart of the Southern Lake District, the Whitewater Hotel is located in Backbarrow, Newby Bridge just one mile south of the world famous Lake Windermere and the market town of Ulverston.
By car the beautiful Lakeland Village can be found a mere 20-minute drive from the M6 Motorway. Take junction 36 and follow the A590 to Barrow. Just through Newby Bridge there is a stretch of dual carriageway which ends with a sharp bend to the left. A few hundred yards along the straight that follows, the Whitewater Hotel and Lakeland Village is the turning on the right. There is parking available for guests, which includes accessible parking.
By train you can get from London Euston to the Lake District in two hours and 34 minutes.
