Set in over 400 acres of grounds, Beaverbrook is an idyllic setting to explore, whether it’s roaming in wild meadows, fishing in the trout filled lake, playing tennis, exploring hidden gardens and treehouses with the family or strolling in vast woodlands. Indoors there’s a private cinema and wine tasting with the Head Sommelier. True wellbeing however, comes into its own in The Coach House Health Club and Spa. Set within the grounds of the hotel, this artfully and exquisitely designed oasis is bathed in autumnal colours and an oak leaf leitmotif cast from the stained glass ceiling. Eschewing the traditional all-white interiors of a classic spa, it is a jewel for wellbeing, peppered with flowers and gemstone hues.
The Thermal Spa includes a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna as well as The English Bath House, a variation of the traditional hammam. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, as well as a children’s outdoor splash pool, makes up the swimming area. On the first floor, the gym offers state of the art equipment with natural light while the exercise studio provides a range of fitness classes. There’s a boutique and apothecary retail area, a dedicated Deli for daytime refreshments, and treatments tailored to the individual. The spa draws inspiration from the surrounding gardens and guests can speak to the resident naturopath about personalised tinctures or enjoy a collection of tailored face and body treatments and journeys.
