Set in over 400 acres of grounds, Beaverbrook is an idyllic setting to explore, whether it’s roaming in wild meadows, fishing in the trout filled lake, playing tennis, exploring hidden gardens and treehouses with the family or strolling in vast woodlands. Indoors there’s a private cinema and wine tasting with the Head Sommelier. True wellbeing however, comes into its own in The Coach House Health Club and Spa. Set within the grounds of the hotel, this artfully and exquisitely designed oasis, is bathed in autumnal colours and an oak leaf leitmotif cast from the stained glass ceiling. Eschewing the traditional all white interiors of a classic spa, it is a jewel for wellbeing peppered with flowers and gemstone hues.

The Thermal Spa includes a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna as well as The English Bath House, a variation of the traditional hammam. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, as well as a children’s outdoor splash pool makes up the swimming area. On the first floor, the gym offers state of the art equipment with natural light while the exercise studio provides a range of fitness classes. There’s a boutique and apothecary retail area, a dedicated Deli for daytime refreshments, and treatments tailored to the individual. You can enjoy a range of treatments and massages including Swedish, Thai, remedial, Shiatsu, lymphatic drainage and biodynamic bodywork. The spa draws inspiration from the surrounding gardens and guests can speak to the resident naturopath about personalised tinctures or enjoy a collection of tailored face and body treatments and journeys.

A quintessentially British country house estate, nestled into the Surrey hillsides, Beaverbrook is an elegant escape surrounded by 470 acres of beautiful gardens. The late Victorian mansion is a fusion of heritage style and modern updates, jewel tones and elaborate details, carefully woven together. Lord Beaverbrook was certainly a man of many connections because today you can choose to stay in Churchill’s actual bedroom, as well as unwind on the terrace surrounded by a hundred years of stories to be told. Rooms and suites are available in a variety of options. The main house has 18 bedrooms, while The Garden House offers incomparable woodland views. Meanwhile, located next to the luxury spa, there are also six contemporary rooms and suites in the Coach House.

Food at Beaverbrook is a joyful experience. There are three experiences offering diverse menus and the chance to enjoy seasonal ingredients, much of which is grown on site. The Japanese Grill in the main house is an elegant experience bringing Asian fare to a classic British setting. Sir Frank’s Bar is a historic and opulent space where the walls are adorned with over 250 paintings by Marianne North and you and tuck into light bites and cocktails. Afternoon tea is served in the dining room, and The Aitken Room can be reserved for private dining for up to 16 people.
