Head to Cheshire and in 38 acres of gardens you will find the impossibly beautiful country house hotel that is Rookery Hall. Now it probably goes without saying that they have a pretty awesome spa… otherwise we wouldn’t be talking about it… but here’s a few facts you probably didn’t know…

1. Because it was once a private home it still has little hints of times gone by, if only you know where to look. For example, underneath the willow tree in the garden there are little gravestones where the former family pets now rest.
